VW Touareg import change to N1 commercial

Hi

Does anyone know if its possible to import a 2014 VW Touareg 5 seater from North and have it re classified as N1? I run own business have VAT number etc and have a pickup at the mo but looking to change, big difference in VRT (about 10k!) and obviously cheaper tax - the garage in North cant/wont reclassify so want to make sure it can be done before buying

Im in the process of trying to VRT a range rover converted to a commercial. Im on my second attempt as they rejected the conversion papers the first time. Still waiting to hear back.

Revenue have also removed the 'crew cab' option under most 4x4s on the vrt calculator under N1 commercial.

The commercial tax conversion loophole is still there, but the VRT one Im questioning at this point.
