Nest thermostat with Systemlink

    Hi all,

I am looking for advice on our central heating system design. The install is in progress and the plumber and electrician are having difficulties.

Briefly, the system comprises of a Grant oil boiler and solid fuel stove with a back boiler connected up to a Systemlink. The system has four zones, three for space heating and one for water heat. The plan was to put Nest thermostats on the three space heating zones but the electrician now does not believe that the Nest system is compatible with the Systemlink.

Does anyone have any experience installing a system like this? Is it possible?? Who should I talk to - Nest or Systemlink?

Any advice much appreciated, I really think this should be possible.

    Thanks,
    Aimee

The mechanics of a Nest thermostat is just as simple as a standard timer/thermostat combination. It is just cleverer about when to turn on and off. No reason it can't be used with a systemlink
