Cartell Report Help

    Hi all, have printed off a cartell report for a car i'm looking at. Only thing that confuses me is the ownsership. Got a guard to check it for me and car is registered to garage with no previous owner. Here's the ownership history from cartell

    What year is the car? Looks like it has one previous owner and now is held by the garage (Trade sales don't increase the number of owners on the log book) Quick check of the log book itself will show the answer, number of owners will be 1 and you can cross reference with the registration date.

    Unless I misunderstand your query?

    it has yeah, but guard checked it, it's regestered to garage but can't see who previous owner was. Just want to make sure it's not a fleet car etc.

    the garage is sending me out the owner log now

    Fleet car would be a positive in some respects. They are generally serviced on the button as its part of the finance or lease deal. Service history and mileage would be a somewhat give away. The fact it was held for 5 years however makes it unlikely that its a fleet car. Most are held for 1 to 3 years, depending on the industry. 5+ would be a long time. That said, its pretty much exactly 5 years, so its not beyond the realm of possibility.

    cheers guys for input. Can has relatively low mileage, 65k for a 5 year old car is not too bad at all

    cartell report shows it was owned d by owner 1 for 5 years, and is now transferred to a garage (who won't count as an owner)
    where's the unusual bit?

    glad to see gardai still abusing their powers :)
