due to long-standing issues I have with them personally.

Is "Judicial Bias" not illegal... or at least lead to recusal?

I'm not sure if the title is accurate.

Although the headline states that he struck out the cases, the text says something that's entirely different, in that the judge has refused to hear the cases, but without making any determination as to their validity.

It's not something that will catch on in other courts unless other judges have made similar queries to Go-Safe and not had a response.

Is that not the same thing or will the people involved in those get a letter at a later date to come to court again because I thought that would involve him saying I won't hear them today come back on 5th april or some other date and we'll see if I've heard back then.

Don't know not a legal expert but that is what I would have thought.

If the charges were struck out, then the people in question are off the hook. If they were dismissed or adjourned, then they will likely have to re-appear at a later date. My understanding from the article is the former has occurred. I'm not sure of the legal measure the judge is using here and I'd be interested to know what the question they have put forward to the company is. Current legislation is riddled with holes and what-ifs so I'm hoping there is some reform at some stage.

Donegal has an appalling accident rate. Fair play to the judge. This will help stats.

Story doesn't appear to exist anymore,

Given it appeared to mention he has a personal issue with them then this shows bias on the judges part and I can't see any attempt to dismiss cases being successful in the long run by him,
