We have UPC broadband, but seem to have a problem if the router is plugged out (and back in again obviously). Back in September we went on holidays and unplugged the router for two weeks, when we came back and plugged it in, the fourth light named "Online" was blinking, and we couldn't pick up a signal. We called UPC who said it would need a technician with the inevitable two week wait. However after about a week it seemed to fix itself, and it has worked fine since.

On Saturday I pulled the plug again by accident and the same thing happened. Ive tried doing a reset etc, but its still the same.

Ill have to wait for UPC again, but in the interim I was wondering if this is a known problem that I might be able to troubleshoot myself at all?
