Your car is running very rich. More data would be needed to gauge exact cause of problem, lambda sensor would need.to be checked for functionality pre and post CAT. I would have thought with emissions this bad you would have an engine management light up?

I had similar readings as you, in another car. It turned out to be the MAF sensor was gone. only difference was my lambda was reading .97

Hi..did have engine management ligt on ...but only because old lambda sensor was gone. ..repacked and light went out. ..going to scan for codes this evening. .

So scanned the ecu last night...no faults.
Ran live data for a while...monitored mV on both lambda sensor. .both..are working...The post cat sensor was showing a lot of flat lines on the graph ..While the pre car sensor was doing its job and constantly jumping up and down in small dips and rises... .
Mechanic thinks the Cat may be gone...

She's going to get the diptane treatment this weekend and getting retested on weds...might just scrape through...then decide whether to spend on her or sell.

the cat is most likely gone but doesnt explain the lamda reading has to be overfueling for a .95 reading

Put in half a bottle of dipetane and half a tank of fuel this morning. .
Drove from Athlone to Tullamore on the M6.
Got it upto 4500rpm in all gear and held at that for a while in 5th.
Then drove back to athlone from Kilbeggan on the old N6.
Went out to Ballykeeran hill and drove up hard in 3rd gear .
Drove around normally for another hour or so.
It was be driven on motorways for the next 3 days and going for a good spin before the test on wed.
