    Hi All,

Apologies if this has been discussed but I cannot find any info, and, need a rapid decision!

We only got engaged a couple of weeks ago and said we would get married this year if it suited, and by chance there are numerous venues and celebrants available. We have whittled it down to 2:
    Castle Oaks Limerick
    Ballyseede Tralee

All have their plusses and minuses for us So....does anyone have any advice or pros or cons? Our invitation list is apprx 150.

Castle Oaks - pros: great food, good reviews, good accom rates and garden; cons: bit shabby e.g. dusty and Lshaped function room (not sure if an issue as isn't overly big)

Ballyseede - pros: food, venue, lovely function room; cons; no pool/leisure/outdoor facilities; higher cost than the rest by approx. 3000.

    Thank you :-)

Went to a wedding in the Brehon late last year and it was lovely. Food was fab and the bride found the staff great. The rooms and breakfast were also great.

If the only con for the Brehon is no outside area, if thats for photos etc your in one of the most scenic places in Ireland! I would have thought there was places just down the road for some fab pics etc.

I have been to 2 weddings in the Brehon and a major con for me is the area for the drinks reception....its basically a pokey balcony with too few seats....it alone would put me off !!
