Internship Abroad for Summer 2016

    Hi there,
(Not sure if this is the correct place to post - please move if its in the wrong place:o)

I'm currently looking into some Internships abroad for the summer of 2016 and am looking for peoples feedback/ experiences on doing internships in America and Europe.

They are predominantly unpaid so I'd be using my savings to fund it, are they worth doing? Do companies look favourably on applicants who've completed Internships abroad? I feel it would be a good opportunity to travel and gain more work experience in the area I'm studying before I'm tied down into further academic study / work after college.

Are they worthwhile? Would you recommend putting down your grade average for the semester / previous academic year on the application?

Any tips please for filling out the applications / converting a CV into a resume. And what to put down and what not to put down?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :o
