As the potential start of a new revamped 24 series, 24: Legacy will revolve around a military hero’s return to the U.S. and the trouble that follows him back – compelling him to ask CTU for help in saving his life, and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil. Howard Gordon (Homeland, 24), Manny Coto (24) and Evan Katz (24) will serve as executive producers.

Based on the 2 and a half minute trailer, it looks good, really good. I'm sure the show will manage just fine without Kiefer Sutherland in the main role..

Interesting, I wasn't expecting footage any time soon. Some 24 DNA there, but setting out its own stall, maybe slightly more edge than the original, or merely more designed to tell stories reflective a world in 2016? The supporting cast better be interesting, i.e. those providing ops/comms/satellite support. They're half the show, really.

Would of liked Idris Elba to play the black guy lead personally, think hes a great actor and that role would suit him.
Guess they wanted a young black guy, looks decent though. Slight 24 about it but looks like its setting its own pace compared to the original series.

Be nice if Kiefer Sutherland made an appearance for one episode :P

Thought it was alright.

- Taser? That's a Bauer move
- CTU soon to be compromised as ****. What's new?
- Can't trust the police or FBI, good old 24
- Teenage subplot, eh...
- Carter's brother's probably got a Baltimore connect, yo
- No use of dammit, well, there can't be...

Think Stephen Hopkins was only name I recognised on the production end.

Presume like the original show the main threat will be 12-16 episodes, then the final stretch will be another.

Enjoying it so far. It's not a must see by any stretch but I like always liked 24. The CTU tech guy reminds me so much of Ed Helms its off putting.
