Study advice needs badly

Hi guys all my life I haven't really been the best student even in primary school and my parents have always been worried about me cause they really want me to do well in life and be a somebody and because they get my exam results in the mail there always the first to see them and my last result was bad

D In Irish
A in English
D in Maths
A in ICT
C in Biology
D in Business
Please I would really like some help with Maths and Irish especially. I did Higher Level Maths for the Junior Cert and I want to do HL for the Leaving Cert but now because of my results my teacher wants me to do Ordinary and I need higher for my university course really need help thanks

What course do you want to do? Congratulations on your A in English by the way. That is no way easy to get.

Thanks for the reply I want to do Computer science my first choice of university is kings college london or Oxford

As you say many colleges in the UK require higher maths as an entry requirement. However if you really want to do computer science you could do a 1 year computer foundation course like say in Oxford Brookes university (the other university in Oxford) that would get you entry to the undergraduate degree in computer science.

However, you should check out the difficulty of maths involved in computer science degrees as it can get very complex which is why colleges have a higher maths entry requirement.
