I'm interested in puchasing one of these for the primary school I work in. Anybody know where I could source one?
Quality is obviously important, but at the same time, the cheaper the better.

After a quick google, looks like it will cost you at least 1200 euro for basic model!!

Picked up a cheap enough double sided one 2years ago directly from a Chinese supplier, cost something around 500euros, but there was import duty also. (can't remember did the 500 include that or not). It's done the job but I did have to open it up shortly after getting it as I could hear screws rattling around inside it ha! Just after ordered a new once, which will come in at closer to 1000 euros when I factor in import duty and all that.

Timing Ireland would be one supplier.

Where do you intend using it? If not outdoors, you can create the same effect with a pc, wide screen tv and digital clock software...

€500 sounds like a bargain compared to the prices I've seen so far. Screws rattling around internally shortly after first use, doesn't tempt me though.

I would be planning to use it outside, so using a PC is not an option.

If I can convince the right people, I'm sure the school would find the required money. Unfortunately, like a lot of Irish schools, funding isn't sufficient to meet everybody's wishes. I'm not sure everybody will see the same value in a track clock that I do. I'm determined to push hard for it though and I'd like to know the best deal I could get, before I go the B.O.M. seeking the money.

We're not looking to break any world records. Hundredths of a second aren't going to matter for what I want the clock. I might be nearly better off without them.

Thanks for the link. Have you bought products from them before?

Can you link the page where you saw that on the site? I had a look and I wasn't able to find it.

Edit; Nevermind, I was using my phone earlier on and it was harder navigate the site. I had a look again when I got home and found it.
