Looking for name of tv show *similar to bear grylls*

    Was recommended to watch a show but cant remember the name of it and do not remember who told me.

    Like an extreme version of bear grylls or ross kemp. Think it was either on sky or discovery.

    Only way i can describe it is a guy has to travel through a load of dangerous places? has to escape from people with guns etc. Think the challenge was to go from one side of an island to the other.

    Not much too go on but thats all i got:rolleyes:
