Backboiler pitching problem

    Hi guys i have a problem with pitching in my backboiler,Was working prefectly and it seemed to happen just recently,i got insulation in my attic,and they put insulation around the F&E tank and also the lid,but what happened was that the insulation fell down into the tank and clogged the Feed pipe to the back boiler(to the return) which starved it of water.Also blackned the pipes as there was no water in the piped.Here is some pics of the system.Any help would be great guys.

    First 2 pics,pump is on the return and pipe stat is on the flow,also there is a 3 bar pressure relief valve fitted to the boiler,Also all 11 rads are heating perfectly
