I have saorview and I'd like to get a couple of English channels.
I have an aeriel in my attic, without installing a satellite dish, is it possible? What would I need?

I would have thought it extremely difficult to pick up Freeview from NI in Sligo (Brougher Mountain would be nearest main transmitter but some of the muxes are on lower power due to co-channel with Divis) esp. with aerial in attic. Aerial would need to be outside, highly elevated with masthead amp to have any chance of receiving any Freeview channels IMHO. I accept I don't know the exact topography of your property so I cannot be more specific. Do you know of anyone else who can pick up Freeview in Sligo area or are there any other local properties with 2 aerials pointing in different directions?

In Sligo town? I'd feel pretty safe saying you wouldn't have a hope, no matter what kind of aerial you put up.
