Well lads - haven't been out in over 2 months - bought a new reel and dying to get out - hoping to go weekend after this coming one - with me relying on public transport that day greystones beach is the only half way decent place available to me - so is there even a remote chance of anything coming off the beach this time of year ? Anything that isn't a resounding no would be enough for me to make the trek😂
    Cheers lads and lasses

Not sure about the beach itself as I have never fished it but this cold snap will do wonders for the cod.

Was out in wexford last week and a friend had 2 small codling - we were catching tons of rockling and whiting all day though and also dab and flounder so if the cod dont show I dont think you will blank anyway.

Was turned on to fresh rag available in arklow - frozen blacks - also had some squid and mussel but the rag was doing the trick
