Anyone have their house painted with Evertex paint... It's supposed to last 15years without needing to be repainted. My parents got this done a few years ago but it started to "bubble" .. Contacted the company and as its under new management since my parents had the job done they are claiming no responsibility, (even though it's the same product and company name remains same)..in saying that he did send a lad down to redo the damaged bits of the house a year ago but within a few months the same thing happened these little bubbles appear and fill with rainwater.. The paint is so strong it kind of traps it and over time the bubbles get bigger and bigger.. You actually have to burst them to release it.

Anyone else have this issue... Would never ever touch Evertex again!

I'd steer clear. Nothing lasts 15 years.... Even if the paint was still in good nick the house would still be dirty from the elements of the weather so it'd need doing again after 3-4 years.

These companies set up all the time and then close down so that there's no come back if there's a problem, which is what has happened to your parents.

I worked on a job years ago where a whole apartment complex had been painted with this 15 year paint and within 12 months it all had to be redone.

Hey folks - does anyone know if evertex has gone bust? Their website is just a godaddy parking domain, and their phone number isn't working...maybe I'm answering my own question, but it seems like the 'guarantee' isn't worth much........
