I'm sure this has been discussed before. I'm considering getting a free to air setup through one of the companies, no more tv bills or someone similar. Just interested to hear if anyone has done the same and how it worked out.

Not sure if you mean an Android box, or some sort of traditional TV set up.

    Have you tried here? http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=40

I have the HUMAX HDR1100 Freesat box, I also have had a few other FTA boxes over time, the HUMAX is for me the best set-up it also has the netflix app only downside is it cannot receive the terrestrial Irish channels

I have a Samsung TV that tunes both Saorview and Freesat and also is a smart TV so I have Netflix etc... This for me is a great setup and didn't require me to go through any company, I did it all myself. You will be able to do it yourself also if you already have an aerial on your roof - if you don't that might require getting someone to put that up for you but the rest is easy. The guys on this website(http://www.freetv.ie/) provide alot of information and youtube videos on setting things up that you might find useful, if you have any specific questions feel free to pm me.
