Mavic Shoes

Just doing a small bit of research online. Some folks reckon Mavic shoes get very narrow at the toe. Is this the general consensus among boardsies too? I prefer a little extra toe room that a Shimano shoe would give

I don't like narrow shoes but never felt squeezed in the mavic huez shoes. Only thing I didn't like was the amount of ventilation in them, too much

wore the said shoe's 2nite for a quick hour spin.

they are narrower then the shimano around the top of the foot no doubts..ive a fairly wide feet and i wouldnt say i felt squashed in them at the same time.i went a size bigger after looking at sizing and reviews...but ended up sending them back and sticking to the same size as i had in my shimano shoe.

got these today and I'm delighted with them. I'm a size 44 (10) so took some of the reviews on the site into consideration and went for the 45.33 (10.5) - the shoes fit like a glove but with a little wriggle room for the inevitable feet expansion. wide enough compared to my race shoes Giro Factor Acc which can get slightly uncomfortable in the heat as foot expands but compact leather doesn't.

the only down side is the cleat alignment is to the side of the shoe and not on the shoe itself. I know this isn't a massive issue for most but my knees feel it when cleats are off by barely a mm.

Ordered them myself and they were delivered today. I'm also a size 44 in normal shoe and a 45 in Shimano cycling shoe. I got the 45.3 so fingers crossed they'll fit. Gotta go buy new cleats now........
