Will prob take a look, most likely play a wizard again but Grim Dawn is so much more interesting than any of the ARPGs out there and will be getting most of my time.

Might give it a go, just not sure if i can bring myself to level another character. The Seasons don't really seem to bring much of note, with some novelty pets and small amount of armour. Maybe doing a HC would make it more interesting though.

Will be giving Wizard a go this season, I think.
Here's a complete guide for the efficient levelling stuff, as well as gear classes and a first 'free' 6 piece set for each class.

Crusader for myself :) invoker thorns build is comical - literally just walk through stuff and it dies, tried it out with just 2 setpieces yesterday and was easily doing torment 6

this is the build if you're interested

and this is what it's like playing it ...

No interest at all in seasonal, I don't see the point anymore, I only ever done them for season only legendaries but theres none this time.
I am interested in the patch and set changes.

Played some of this build with my wizard, good fun but Grim dawn keeps calling me :P

Only recently got Diablo so still playing through the campaign. Reading up about builds and leveling on the reddit subforum. I take it diving straight in to a hardcore season would be a disaster?

depends on how many risks you take and if you can hack it tbh, losing a character is gutting - but it makes for a more enjoyable experience.

I got my crusader on hc season to 70 and paragon 80-something, full set of invokers and easily farming torment 6. That set is comical!

tbh i really dont think true endgame is setpieces anymore, so long as you have the litany ring set as your only set and equip an ancient in each slot you get a 100% bonus to damage per ancient item - so technically, endgame is whatever spec you want to make work with those restrictions

    I'm back in it anyway.

D3 at this point for me is to come back every season, get 2-3 weeks of craic with the lads, then stop again until the next season.

Firebird set dungeon is a b*stard without the Ice Climbers... which despite a few thousand shards, haven't dropped for me yet from Kadala.
As such, I'm finding it tough to get stuck into the season. I suppose I could do another set dungeon, but it's just annoying.

Finally finished the campaign with my crusader so decided to give a seasonal wizard to go. Got a legendary ring with 28% exp, Cain's set and Leoric's crown so levelling quickly.

Is there a benefit to using rebirth rather than creating a new character?

If you're not planning on playing the character in Normal it saves a slot. It retains the hours played and some other stats (I think) if you like the idea of that. It's also marginally faster/more convenient than deleting a Normal character and creating a new Seasonal character if your Roster is full.

not much no, it just changes that character to seasonal, sets the level to zero and strips all the gear from it and throws it into a mail which you can pickup in non-season

You basically just keep your achievements and timeplayed etc..

I see. Might do it with my crusader eventually. He only hit lvl 70 so thats only a few hours of work and I get my set out of it.

That Crusader set is brilliant, i have my own decked out in some awesome gear and that full set, she's immortal on torment ten, pushed a 68 greater rift the other day too, great stuff

here's a really decent guide for gear and build if you're planing on going with that set

Didn't know it was one set per account and already used it on my wizard. Would have to farm up the set myself somehow.

Gave my low level crusader a legendary gem with thorn damage. Everything kills itself by hitting me once.
