Owen Mullholland RIP

    I would just like acknowledge the passing of Owen Mullholland from Carrickmacross. He was a stalwart of Monaghan Regional Game Council and a member of the National Executive NARGC.

    He was a hunting man through and through and one of the great characters in the sport.

    He was always eager to pass on knowledge to the next generation and he will be a big loss.

    RIP Owen

    He was the Vice Chairman since the AGM last October, the position is being left vacant for the remaining term, as a mark of respect for Owen.
    A great character who told it as it was, R.I.P.

    I didn't hear about leaving it vacant as a mark of respect..that's a nice way to acknowledge Owen. I dare say there will be a few trying to put someone into the position.
    Owen was a rarity..he told you what he really thought and did what he said he would.
