    Hi,
Need some advice.my knowledge on cars is limited to knowing how to drive.
So currently have an 07 Renault kangoo.Don't really need a van anymore plus have 2 kids now so a van just wont work.
    Have between 20-25k to spend.
Really like the qashqai.would I be better off with say a mondeo or something similar.
Plus I know there is scrappage deals for new cars, should is go all out for a brand nee one.
    Any advice appreciated

You could get a nice brand new Suzuki Vitara for that money or a Dacia Duster. There should be great deals on the old model Kia Sportage now as well as a new model just came out this month. If you want something a little smaller you could look at cars like the Renault Capture and Suzuki SX4 S-Cross. Think that one is a little bigger than the Vitara but still great value. The Fiat 500x is another. If you want something a bit left field you could look at the Jeep Renegade.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

If you want bootspace/space and better handling go with the saloon - closer to the ground.

SUV for high up driving, but sloppier handling, and but IMO not so good in the city - too heavy, and not good for awareness of cyclists in the city - to many blindspots.

    But drive both.

You couldn't go far wrong with a Hyundai Tucson. Brand new model, good warranty and good scrappage offer too.

Yes really like the look of the Tucson.
Going to go have a look at the weekend.

I think all these suv's have smallish boots compared to an estate...mondeo estate maybe?
