Pinhole scratch on MacBook screen. A common problem

    Hi there

I noticed what I thought was a speck of dirt on my screen. After trying to clean it off I noticed it was in fact a tiny pinhole mark that resulted in a dead pixel behind it (when the screen is black the scratch is white)

This is a common problem judging by comments on forums throughout the internet.

However, while annoying, I'm wondering if it will be OK - ie will it expand and get worse like a crack on the windscreen of a car would? Will it drop any more pixels etc.?

I may buy a screen protector now. Which I did that when I got it.
