    Hi guys,

In november last year myself and the girlfriend booked a week in vegas

total cost came to 2530e including the accomodation.

After some lurking around today by my girlfriend
Shes after finding the exact same flights and hotel for 1600e offered by one of their competitors.

their competitors are looking for 900e deposit though, which I will happily pay considering the massive savings here in price difference.

But will I get my deposit back? anyone have any experience with cassidys.
I understand its an 8-12 week wait for money to come back but all I see is an admin charge of 35e listed on their website
no mention of loss of deposit.
The flight is not taking off until september 9th. So I can't see any reason why they would keep the deposit.

Just want to see if anyone has tried this before.

If it was 2-300 euros saving I wouldn't bother budging.
But nearly 1000 euro I'd be an idiot not to try and get the better deal.

Why don't you ask them? Not being smart but the best place to get an answer about a specific company is to ask that company.

They were shut at time of asking. Was looking for a fast response to book the holiday. But thanks for the obvious answer.

Out of interest, what was their answer?

I think with a lot of those type of trips they have to pay for the flights when you book as these aren't chartered flights, Id say you won't get too much back maybe the taxes on the flights.

From looking at their FAQ which I see you have read it looks like the cancellation fees are at the discretion of the hotels/airlines you booked and will vary case by case so Cassidy cant publish these as they would find it hard to be accurate.

Cassidy are just an intermediary and as you said the €35 is just an admin fee for them to arrange the cancellation. I imagine they wont be able to give you the cancellation fees until you contact them and they query it with the suppliers.

If it's November you booked it i would say you will get little or nothing back.
