Hi we r planning to build extension on side of our house, as it is end of terrace. Upc and esb have there wires tied on the corner how can we approach to move in front.
If some one has done this before how long does this take and cost also.
So that we can budget it in and start the process now
    thanks

Did you call UPC and ESB and ask?

UPC and ESB will move cables, but, you need to ask them to do it. :)

    Calm them and tell them.
My father in law done this years ago and they placed the cables under the ground accros his site in Finglas. He has free basic UPC for life because of it.

thanks doarch and kceire. I can approach esb no problem . Its just i was trying UPC customer care didn't knew which option to select.
Also does esb charge for moving the cable. I don't want them to take far atleast if they can move in front wall

    thanks
