The o/h is going to NYC in sept. Was looking at Delta, they have a 764 down for flying the route, that can't be right can it? What do people think, is that likely to change? Thanks in advance.

If its a 763 you mean that's correct

No, it says 764 on the website but a 763 will be close enough. It's got to do with the seating, I just want to be sure before she books. If it said a 763 I probably would not have said anthing.

What dates is that on? Just picked a few random dates in Sept and all showing 763.

It may be a mistake or it could be genuine. Every now and then UA for example upgrade from the 757 in SNN due to a group of some sorts, marching band etc making a large booking and also need the extra cargo capacity for the groups baggage or in a bands case musical equipment.

A bit confusing the website. On the booking page if you click on the icon for flat back seats it says it's a 752 ER. If you click into the seating plan it gives one for a 764, then on another page it tell's you it's a 763. Probably around the 15th - 17th of sept for outbound.
Any way thanks for all your help lad's, I knew you'd come up trumps.

Also mentions a 76W to make matters more confusing!

76W is a 767-300ER. The W is just used to differentiate different seats and equipment.

A 76W is one of the 767-300's with the new business elite seats.

It is the 767-300 scheduled. Delta haven't been so lucky actually inputting this into parts of their website though. Aer Lingus to JFK is a 757-200, as is United to EWR.

You won't see a B764 at all as its J heavy where as the B763 is Y heavy. They have the 26 J, 171 y fleet scheduled on it. The other version is 36 J, 143 Y.
