Hi,

As per the title, has anyone had experience of the Opel Corsa OPC (Vauxhall Corsa VXR)?

Top of the list is a '4th Piston' problem which seems to effect engines that are not properly warmed or cooled before driving, or an alternative theory holds that the manifold causes overheating. Tuning seems to make the problem worse but it also is reported in cars that are not tuned. Anyone have experience? Or can anyone offer an estimate to get the block rebuilt with forged pistons and rods as a preemptive strike?

Other issues I've found:
Leaking Rad Hoses

'Squeeky' Brakes

Fan Motor Heater & Sensor

Cracked Air Con Piping

Stability Control Light

Wheel Bearings @ 60k [Not a major issue]

Vacuum Piping Issues

Flywheel

Finally, any specialists for these cars in Ireland? I'd be interested in taking one and professionally tuning (Stage 3), but I'm looking to scope it out first.
