Folks I thought I'd share this in the hope it might hit home out to at least one person. I witnessed the aftermath of a pretty bad crash on the Malahide road this evening (Griffith ave junction) involving a heavily pregnant woman trapped inside her vehicle, I witnessed one lad trying to force the door open and pulled over and told him not to move that person until the ambulance got there.

Initial thoughts are someone ran a red light judging by the position of the cars, that's irrelevant anyway as the damage is done but stay safe guys I've been an amber gambler in the past but this was very thought provoking stuff :(

Haunting to say the least...at the end of the day a few minutes of a delay won't kill you

Thoughts are with that woman and hopefully the only damage done today was the 2 cars involved

A reminder that just because it's green a cautious motorist should look left and right before making the maneuver ... It's easy to forget but perhaps in this instance the accident may of been avoided.

Lads I wouldn't be speculating on the details of the accident or who did what when none of you have any information at all regarding the cause.

Once back injury is suspected the roof comes off. There's no way for anyone to know the injuries of those involved, which is why the emergency services always assume the worst and take the roof off for safest extraction.
