Different signatures on documents (HELP).

Regarding my learner permit, I simply gave the most common signature on my theory test certificate, of writing my name in joint-writing. Now the time has come to re-new my passport and I have to put a new signature on to it, in which I finally got sorted and happy with to use for the rest of my life.

The problem I'm having is, would it matter that my passport and application form would have a different signature to the one on my theory test certificate when I apply for my learner permit? it would be completely different signature bearing some resemblance to my name/surname. Need advice as to whether I should go with the new one which is completely different or stick with the most basic one which I gave months ago on my theory certificate.

What are the chances that anyone will be comparing the 2 documents enough to notice the difference.

Do you have Credit Cards ?

I would imagine that most Adults have a different signature to that they used as a child.

I've changed my signature at least twice, and haven't run into any major problems.

The only time it was any kind of issue was with my bank account, where I used one signature for the sample I initially gave them. I was trying to do something or other in the branch one day and they wouldn't accept the signature I used on a form. They gave me a few goes at it, and after I got it right took my current signature as a new sample. At least I hope it was my current signature, I need to go back in there soon :)

Due to dyspraxia (fine motor control problems), I have no consistent signature. Still managed to get a mortgage, bill pay phone, car loans in the past, sign employment contracts, etc.

Thank you all for the replies, I'm glad it isn't a problem like I thought it was. :)
