    whats the story with insurance?
    is there any cheaper insurance due to it being 20 years ? or is it dearer due to age? thanks

    There are some companies not insuring to new customers on older cars.

    You should get insurance but as im sure you are aware prices are on the up in general anyway.

    There are some companies not insuring to new customers on older cars.
    - When renewing last year on a 15 year old car it came up in conversation with Allianz that they would not have offered cover if I had been a new customer with a car that old.

    - Both the links below date from last summer so I guess check if anything has changed in the interim. Limits your choices for sure.
