NCT Failure

    Hi,

My Mk4 Golf failed the NCT on wishbone bushes but my mechanic and I are having differences of opinions as to whether its front or rear. The report states:

'Front Suspension (46) Wishbone bushes Offside Rearmost\Inner'

I think it's the front thick rubber type but my mechanic thinks its the rear.

Can anybody shed light on this please as to whether its front or rear of the car?

    Thanks

Can your mechanic not tell by checking?

    I'd get a new mechanic.

Pretty much what I was arriving to say :D

It's the rearmost bushing on the front wishbone, OP.

There can be two bushings on the front at each corner. (I think).

Here we go, an actual offside Golf mk 4 wishbone labelled by someone else. Handy!

It is the rear bushing on the wishbone, your mechanic is right.... he's a mechanic.
What do you do for a living?
