Washing machine today had a f21 error code, managed to reset it, put in a new wash and selected a new wash program, screen lights up as normal but nothing happens except the time left starts to reduce as if it's working but it's not. Any ideas anyone?

Googling the error code says issue may be the motor or control panel, that usually means the brushes need replacing, something that is expected after several years of daily washes.

Look here for the method to reset the machine to clear the code http://www.fixya.com/support/t4308506-bosch_classixx_6_1200_express_error_code
