Renault laguna mk3 rear fog light not working

    Hi just getting my renault laguna mk3 ready for dreaded nct and the rear fog light stopped working. Ive checked bulb which is ok and cleaned the fitting but no joy. Also it is not lighting up on dash
    display does anyone know if its a fuse issue or quick fix thanks

    Apologies if I'm asking the obvious but do you have the sidelights/dips turned on?

    It could be a fuse, or faulty switch or relay. Also check the contacts on the connector blocks aren't corroded. I once had a headlamp on a Megane not work due to a slightly corroded contact in the harness connector on the engine bay fuse board. A quick clean sorted it easily.

    A multimeter will tell you if there is power getting to the bulb holder.
