Bass player and lead guitarist looking for a drummer who really knows their instrument!

Influences: Led Zeppelin, Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures (It's not necessary to have the same influences as us).

    Aged between 19 and 25.

We're very experienced at playing live with previous bands, have a few contacts in Dublin for gigs, and have our own P.A.

Send us a PM and we can link you a video of us performing.

Not applying here or anything but I'm a drummer and I find a great way to find us is to put up an ad on the stairs leading to the Drumgeon in Musicmaker.

There's a common misconception that drums are easy when that misconception can't be anymore wrong. If you want a good drummer that knows their instrument, ask them questions like to they practice rudiments or practice with a metronome, can they tune their drums etc. Maybe different styles too such as jazz and funk. If the answer is no to these or they claim they don't need to, get rid of them. A good drummer isn't one who flies around his kit a breakneck speed, that's easy. A good drummer is someone who serves the music by playing appropriately for that song and playing it with groove that makes you want to dance. That involves rudiments and good timing so they have minimal technical restrictions and control. They can play anything they feel with their extensive vocabulary. Tuning is also important, if you have a banger of a song.... you want to drums to fit that genre and to not sound like a wet fart basically. Just thought I'd post this, you all sound like a capable lot and I know when it comes to playing Led Zeppelin you are going to need a diverse powerhouse of a drummer.

    Hope this helps.
