Going to Lanz next month. Flights and apartment booked. Anyone recommend a company for shuttle bus transfer from airport?

To where? If its Matagorda or Puerto del Carmen just get a taxi, €10/€12,

+1 for the car hire. Really cheap there.

If you're not into that then a taxi is the cheaper option if staying in PdC, Los Pocillos or Matagorda. Generally loads right outside the door when you leave the Arrivals hall.

A few years ago we used Last Minute transfers, http://www.lastminute-transfer.com/ as there were five of us and a lot of luggage having brought a newborn. They were grand. Does what it says on the tin.

Totally agree about hiring a car, very inexpensive and opens up the whole island for you to explore.

    €10 for a cab.

Wish I had gotten when when I arrived instead of spending an hour on a shuttle bus transfer

Got a good shuttle bus transfer to Matagorda, cost around €5pp, and was direct. On our arrival we were on the 8 seated vehicle alone within 10 mins and at our apartments within 20. On the way back the shuttle bus arrived punctually with another family on board, but we were shuttled straight to the airport. Was a great job, and saved an insignificant sum on taxis for the group.

We're in Lanzarote since last Saturday, going home in the morning. Rented a car with avis, €143 it cost with the excess reduced to zero. Staying in Puerto Del Carmen but travelled the island, a little over 700 kms done. Filled the tank this evening, €37 it took. Would highly recommend renting a car for simply getting around the place rather than waiting on buses.

Agree - renting a car is the best way. If that's not an option then I have also used lastminutetransfer.com twice and never had any issues with them.

Lastminutetransfers! That's the crowd I got. Top class service in my experience, wisked away straight away faster than a taxi at a fraction of the price.
