My father is trying to sell 10 acres of spruce forestry with the accompanying land in West Clare. He is having a lot of difficulty in getting interested parties due to the small quantity of forestry. It was planted 20 years ago and the headage has expired. What are his possible options?

How much is he looking for and has an adequate access road to harvest the forestry been built?

About 3k an acre. There is a road at present but my father would assist in ensuring that it is adequate for harvesting the forestry

Paul Lafferty is the main seller of forestry land in Ireland,I have no connection with him but I am sure he will give you some advice.
