Overpronation V Sore ankle

I need to get new runners - I mildly overpronate on the left foot so last time I got runners to help with stability, but I've left my core training lax a good bit lately and my weak left ankle is more delicate............so my question, should I opt for a cushioning runner to help with the wonky ankle or a stability runner to opt for the mild overpronation?

Should specify that all running is on treadmill - no outside running
