No Internet Access

AFAIK, I'm with UPC but could be very wrong about that.
For the past three weeks, I've only had two days of proper Internet access. I reported the problem to my landlord (he provides the Internet since it's a student accommodation) last week, just before New Years Eve. He tried to get in touch with a fella who deals with Internet problems and asked to get him over to look at it. Unfortunately because of the timing, my landlord couldn't get in touch with him till Monday. Came down on Wednesday and Internet problem was fixed.

Now it's back down and I've tried calling both my landlord and the Internet fella but neither are answering. Did get through to the landlord this morning and he said that your man just rebooted the router and it was fixed but he'd tried to call him ASAP.

Now, I've tried doing this. There are two routers in my apartment. A TP-Link and a ZyXEL. TP-Link is connected via mains for power and as usual, connected via Ethernet. The ZyXEL is only connected by Ethernet. Not too sure how it powers itself up as there isn't a battery part in it.

I'm just getting 'No internet access' all the time and it's the same thing last week. Tried removing Bonjour and that yielded no results. Ran a network diagnostic test and it says that "Wireless Network Connection 3" doesn't have a valid IP configuration.

Any ideas? Not working on any device at all. Tried connecting the broadband via Ethernet to my PC but no luck.

Zyxel may well be fed by PoE.

If you arent being leased an IP theres a good chance theres a leg of his network down, but we wont be able to fix it. This is a problem for your landlord, not boards.

I was hoping that maybe there was something that I don't know and would fix it for the weekend but thanks.
