cold bridge in my house

In my dormer bungalow my chimney bridges the cavity and I have 2 options to insulate. One is pump cavity with also adding 200mm knauf insulation in crawl spaces in dormer. The other option is same knauf but also to do external insulation with me doing the work.

Cheapest option would be to pump and knauf but I'd be worried that the cold bridge would make all the insulation damp on my external wall. Are these beads completely waterproof or can they create damp.

Ask a few insulation company's what their solution would be.

Listen carefully to what they say.

Source good advice. It really is worth it.
