Advice regarding asking for a discount on the bike to work scheme

    Hi everyone,

    Myself and a friend are both purchasing the new Defy 1 Disc currently retailing for €1,399.00. I rang the cycle superstore who offered us one at €1,294 each but considering we would be buying two should we try and haggle much more? First time doing the scheme so not sure!

    If your doing it direct through work direct (not a middle man) it is definetly worth a shot but if its through the like of biketowork.ie or cyclescheme.ie or all4one you probably have little hope as they take 10% of the first 1000 in most cases.
