Malta and Italy?

    Hi all,

So myself and the girlfriend were thinking of going on a holiday in May, and have Malta and Italy (Venice and Verona in particular) in mind.

I'm hoping to sort something out because while both places interest us, I prefer Malta and she said she would prefer Italy.

Do good deals ever come up from getting between the two? Is it worth waiting a few weeks or should we book as soon as possible.

If we go for a week, I'd love to work out a cost effective way of doing both, and giving each adequate time.

    Thanks,
    M

Ryanair fly from Malta to Venice and a tonne of other places including Rome and Bologna (Not Verona mind), fares there for €25 one way at the moment.

    Thanks all,

Looked at the Ryanair deals and they are pretty good in my books.

Does accommodation with swimming pools usually sell out 2 months before?

We're looking to get one of those (one of the budget options) and are wondering is it worth waiting for March sales (March flights are good now, so we're speculating whether May flights will be cheaper in March).

For Italy try "agriturismo"....basically accommodation that is reasonably priced with swimming pools etc. Some are working farms - vineyards who produce their own wine and love for you to sample it!!
