Milan to Bella Italia

We are flying into Milan in June, then renting a car to travel to Bella Italia campsite.
Haven't driven in Europe for a few years. Is it OK of a spin? It looks like most of it is on motorway.
    Any tips for getting there?
Or anything of interest around the area. We will be there for a week.
    Any tips/ insights appreciated!

Easy to get to. Bella Italia is at the southern part of the lake just off the motorway (peschierais is the village so you can't miss it.

Definitely go to Verona, The bus stop is just outside the gate in case you are nervous about driving to the city.

Loads of lovely towns around the lake, malchesni being my favourite.
