Monitor for use with QHD laptop?

Hey all, I've a laptop which runs display wise at 3200 x 1600 and my monitor runs at 1920 x 1080 As a result using the monitor is crap compared to the laptop. WHat are the options if I look to upgrade my monitor? Am I looking at getting a 4k monitor? Am looking for about a 22 inch plus monitor TIA :)

QHD is 2560x1440, you've got a "3K" panel. A QHD panel at 22/24" is usually plenty high PPI for most people, but the PPI on a 3k 15/17" will only be matched with an 8K 27" or similar. Depends on how good you want it.
