Can't wait for this. Mid Morning Matters is one my favourite things Alan has ever appeared in.

Little Girl: Did the man hurt any muppets?
AP: No love, he didn’t hurt any muppets, he simply dispatched some terrorists from a radicalised RSPB in Wookie Hole. It was simply when he slit the throats of the bad people, they resembled the mouths of muppets. Sometimes when the government has exhausted diplomatic means, they allow state sanctioned killing. When you grow up you’ll realise that you have to tackle tough Taliban terrorists to topple totalitarian tyrants. That was a bit of a tongue twister wasn’t it?
    LG: Is Bill Oddie dead?
AP: No! Bill Oddie’s alive and well Sophie. Well, he’s alive.

Found the rest of the quote too:
    Sophie: Did they get better?
Alan (to Tommy): Did they get better?
    Tommy: We cleared the cave.
Alan: No. No one survived, Sophie. He cleared the cave.

Haha, his theory that television is a busted flush and that radio is the way to go has nothing to do with his TV career being in ruins I take it :D

I've watched the first few episodes of this Series now, lovely stuff. Alan and Sidekick Simon as good as ever.

I preferred them when they popped up every Friday on Youtube in 10 minute videos. The full 30 minute programme seems a bit drawn out.

I wonder will this be available in areas with no Sky coverage.

This is as good as the best of Partridge. Easily up there with 'I'm Alan Partridge'. The play in episode two had me creased up with laughter and the book club was perfect.

Baby Pea and Mummy Pea have finally pushed Daddy Pea too far.

    It's the Black Eyed Peas.

Last night's episode was the funniest of the series so far, especially Alan's Valentine's jingle.

I laughed, quite literally, like a drain :D

Holy sh1t his radio play with Professor Hannigan in the first ep had me in stitches :D

"How do I know its you, Professor Hannigan?"

"Perhaps you notice I shake your hand quite badly?"

    "Of course! Your missing fingers..."

One hour special Monday night at 10pm after GOT. :pac::D

One-off, spoof documentary in which Steve Coogan's perennially over-reaching broadcaster heads to the nebulous 'north' to see how the other half live. Seeking to make amends for a controversial on-air gaffe, in which Alan apparently managed to offend anyone who considers themselves a 'northerner', Norwich's finest sets out to immerse himself in the lives of the very people he slighted, as he investigates what he refers to as the 'schasm' between the UK's haves and the have-nots, perhaps even transforming himself into a sought-after TV star in the process.

Was the actress in the book club episode the same lady who plays Lynne (Felicity Montagu) in the old series?
I was sure it was, but looked up here IMDB site and its not listed.

Brilliant episode....i am not sure when I have laughed so much at a tv show in a long time, when it started off with
him racing out for the toilet break and coming back soaked in pee

i love the subtle bits, like "we have to protect this woman's identity", while making no attempt to hide the street name or house number
