Picked this up a few weeks ago. Always wanted one. Had to sell my 535d to be able to buy it as I have no room for anymore cars in the drive way. Was a hard decision but I am glade I made it.

The DC5 is much for fun to drive than the 535d so you dont really mind the huge difference in power.

Heres a few pics of the DC5

When I collected the car it only had 111k kms / 68k miles on it. Felt very tight to drive with a lovely smooth engine.

    Its fairly standard bar

    18" rota fighters
    spoon springs
    AEM V2 cold air infeed.
3 gauges on the driver pillar.

Unsure on plans for this really but I planned to leave the engine alone and just upgrade brakes and suspension.

First time I had it out in the heavy rain I noticed how bad the tyres were on it. Nearly lost the car going around a feed off onto a motorway. Back lost grip then the front lost luck enough I was able to control it.

I was out on the open track day with Barry in his impreza wagon and I got the bug. I decided I am going to take the DC5 out on the track maybe once or twice a year to enjoy it the way you cant on public roads.

First things first was to sort out a decent set of tyres

Today I ordered a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's. Got them for a very good price. Cant wait to get them fitted whenever they arrive.

At the track day a fellow car member to one of the car sites I'm on came over to me with some goodies for the car. He use to own a dc5 but since its gone he had no use for these

24mm Rear antiroll bar and aftermarket droplinks

    Love that car Chriity :)

On trackdays, you can't do better these days than Auto Heroes.
Roughly once a month you get a half day for 70 or a full for 130!
I done the previous two :)

Where do I find more info on this. Thats great value.

Probably wont be ready until February to hit the track. When is the next one on I will pop down and have a look. Its hardly the full track for that price is it.

What car did you take out

Brought my goodyear eagle f1's up to get fitted today. They are still fairly slippery due to being brand new but already the comfort level of the car has much improved, road nose has decreased, the rear end is far more stable and already I can feel a huge difference in road holding. Grip will only get better as they bed in. Gave her a quick wash after
