Faulty mobile

Can someone please tell me what the policy is regarding a faulty mobile. The mobile is 6 months old and not charging so not on. I've just called to ask about repair/replacement and was told it's no longer anything to do with Eir and my best bet is to pay somewhere myself and see if they can fix it.

Honestly I'd expect a phone to last longer than that and surely if it's on contract its under warranty. I'd accept responsibility if it was dropped or water damage but not it not charging.

    HI piperh

If the phone is only 6 months old then it’s still under warranty. Once there’s no physical or liquid damage it can be sent off for repair under the manufacturer’s warranty. To arrange this please call in to a store.

    Thanks

Thanks Alan I was told Eir are only responsible for the first 28 days after that I needed to deal with the manufacturer but I'd be better off taking it somewhere else and paying which I didn't think could be right.

No physical or water damage so I'll find a store and drop in.
