We were they two years ago and it rained for the two weeks :( but its made for that weather all the pools are in doors and the dungeloes are well equipped tv, dishwasher (yay) etc etc much better than the mobile homes in France etc. .

Would I recommend it, yes I suppose. We normally go to France every year to the campsites and bring the car but for some reason we wanted to do something different and decided not to hire a car and just use public transport because its good over there but I did miss the car and with the rain that year it didn't help.

The park is great some of the rides are brilliant, normally we would go up to park before it was open to the public and cram in a few rides before the crowds came then leave it for the middle of the day and then maybe go back late in the evening to cram in a few more as people were leaving. The pool can be busy though queuing for some of the slides but again the slides are very good.

Any idea what the weather would be like in Duinrell on the first week of August? or how likely it is to get good weather around this time. I think it is generally in the 20s but just not sure how likely poorer weather could be

Can be fine, but could be bad as well.

Lived there for a while. Definitely warmer there in the summer. It can be over 30 degrees if they get a good spell but I had some awful summers as well.

    It's a risk.

Weather in Holland is just like home in that it's a bit of a lottery.

Unfortunately there's no guarantee of good weather. Statistically August is warmer and dryer but sadly statistics mean nothing if you get a bad spell of weather. We were there last July and had plenty of rain, including thunderstorms but didn't spoil our holiday.

We had plenty of fine, sunny weather too. Just be prepared. I'd go back in any weather as we all loved the place.
