    Noting that additional routes beyond Gatwick are contingent on changes or elimination of Air Passenger Duty, which is unlikely to happen before October 2026 let alone 2016. Big Government in London requires that Littler Government in Stormont compensate it for loss of revenue relating to any proposed changes to APD...

    I reckon Ryanair are just toying with NI whilst keeping the Belfast - Gatwick slots out of the hands of potential competitors. I doubt they'll stick around for much more than a couple of years ( you can quote this back to me in 2018! )

    I am equally skeptical. I'm sure the LGW slots can be used elsewhere after a certain time period, maybe MOL is back to dangle the carrot in front of Stormont / Belfast again only to disappear in a 'huff' when he doesn't get what he wants.

    Being able to support two more aircraft operating full schedules at the start of winter season out of BFS would be impressive. If anyone can do it, RYR probably can but anyone who has ever worked at/in/out of BFS/BHD will be amazed.
