    Hi
I have been called as a Witness to a Case in Limerick.
I cannot stay overnight as I'm working the next day.

Can anyone tell me what time does the Circuit Court hear cases until?
The Summons says that Court sits at 2.30p.m. in Court 4 in Limerick.
Need to book train back but don't want to book it too early as I don't know what time in the afternoon the Case will be heard.

Civil or criminal case? If it's a civil case, talk to the solicitor acting for the side which is calling you. It's usually not a big deal in a civil case for one particular witness to give evidence early and then be excused. That typically doesn't happen with lay (non-expert) witnesses in a criminal case where the prosecution counsel will call witnesses in a specific order - usually in chronological order in terms of the events they saw so when you're called will depend on the order of where your evidence comes in the plot.
