    Hello

I hope this is in the right place, if not could an admin please advise.

I am a volunteer in my local Scout Group and I am think a clothes collection would be a good fundraiser. Has anyone ever done this type of fundraising for such a group?

If you have could you please advise if there is anything I should avoid? What company did you use and where they good? What type of clothes were recycled? I have seen some only take resalable clothes and at least one take all and any not fit for resale will be turned in rags. Some offer electronic recycling as well, does this add to such an event?

I have also posting in the Scout and Guiding forum to see if any other Scouters have had first hand experience but thought it would get seen by more people here as well.

Thanking you in advance for your assistance.
    Hugh
