Dogs killed my PC

So a couple of weeks ago our 2 dogs managed to thrash my PC by dragging it off the desk and smashing it to crap, lots of screaming shouting and threats of dog pound ensued but I have calmed down since.............

Anyhoo, managed to get it working but it needs an overhaul and as it is after Xmas, budgets are tight etc. Bagged some Amazon vouchers at Xmas and I have a birthday at the end of the month so more Amazon vouchers will follow. I'd say I should have about €150 in vouchers and can put up to another €100 or so towards some stuff.

What I am looking at replacing is the PC case (was Bitfenix Merc), CPU Cooler (was a big hefty yoke but don't need one as big this time), 1.5TB External Drive and 8GB RAM.

I don't want the same case as I would like it to feel like a new machine when looking at it, I would like 3-4 USB ports on the front/top if possible similar to the Merc and would budget max €60 on this.

Would prefer a USB powered external drive up to 2TB, USB 3.0 ofc.

Would like to go to 16GB RAM, blame Arkham Knight for this but hey, why not!

This is what I am looking at, just wondering if there is anything better out there.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00Y0R953W?psc=

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0039P998M?psc=

Those 4 are in around €250 now inc delivery.

I will also be looking to replace my 270x a month or so later as 2 of the outputs are f00ked, what would you recommend around €200? Any new GPU's coming out Q1 this year? CPU I have a 2500K OC'd to 4ghz for reference and 2 x monitors, 1080p.

Lastly, any decent Wireless Headsets for sub €50 on Amazon, I think I need to go this route as that's how the dogs managed to destroy it in the first place, damn wired headfones!

That list is fine if you like the look of them.

As for a GPU in that price range I'd say an nVidia GTX 960 4GB or AMD R9 380 4GB depending on whichever side of the fence you want to be on. Alternatively you could wait for the new stuff in a few months.

As for a headset, maybe this?

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sumvision-Akuma-Wireless-Headset-Black/dp/B00TSIX8A4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1452175876&sr=8-3&keywords=wireless+headset

Or maybe see what the chinaman has to offer at aliexpress?

Bit dodgy going for a headset below €50 IMO, but you might get away with it if you're not an audiophile.

Cheers Rob, not too worried about sound quality as I have a touch of tinnitus anyways, can't hear a lot of frequencies (damn you heavy metal in the 90's lol!) and would be more worried about battery life and comfort. That Akuma does look good, up to 12hrs battery according to another site.

Was looking at the 380 too so will see what price it is early April and probably go with that.

Go the 380, as it is outperforming the 960 in most games except the Withcer 3. The Powercolor and the Sapphire editions are very good for the money.
